Carpholite (5 x 8.6 cm) from Meuville (Belgium) with its original blind stamped label (6.3 x 9.9 cm) from "L.L. De Koninck | Ingénieur & Docteur en Sciences | Liége" with the handwritten text: "22148 | M. 4238 | Carpholite (très - rare) | du terrain ardennais | Meuville | Prov.[ince] de Liége".
The label belongs to Lucien Louis De Koninck (1844-1921) who was the son of Laurent Guillaume De Koninck (1809-1887). L.G. De Koninck was a medical doctor and paleontologist and the mineral koninckite was named after him by G. Cesàro in 1884.
